Bollywood Dance Style
Bollywood dance originates from the Indian film industry in Mumbai and has become one of the most globally recognised Indian dance styles. It blends classical Indian dance, folk traditions, and modern Western movement styles like hip hop and contemporary. Known for its expressive storytelling, energetic steps, and dramatic flair, Bollywood is joyful, versatile, and accessible to dancers of all levels. It’s all about emotion, personality, and celebrating music through movement.

Kathak Dance Style
Kathak is one of the eight classical dance forms of India, originating in North India. Its name comes from the word katha, meaning “story,” because early Kathak dancers were storytellers who used movement, expressions, and rhythm to narrate tales. The style is known for its intricate footwork (tatkaar), fast spins (chakkars), graceful arm movements, and expressive facial storytelling. Kathak builds discipline, musicality, and strong foundational technique, making it a deeply artistic and culturally rich form.

Hip Hop Dance Style
Hip Hop began in the 1970s in the Bronx, New York, and has grown into a worldwide cultural movement. The dance style includes grooves, isolations, popping, locking, footwork, and freestyle elements. Hip Hop celebrates individuality, rhythm, and personal style. It’s powerful, expressive, and encourages dancers to connect with the beat while developing confidence, coordination, and flow. Today, Hip Hop continues to evolve through global music and street dance culture.
